VitalTalk Course Cancellation and Transfer Policies
Please read all policies closely as applicable to the course type you are purchasing.
All VitalTalk Online Asynchronous Courses:
Due to the nature of our online courses, we do not offer refunds for any VitalTalk online asynchronous course. It is very important that you read the product page, title, access length and description thoroughly.
Virtual Simulation Practice Courses (Mastering Tough Conversations):
Refund requests must be made in writing. Please send refund request to courses@vitaltalk.org.
- Full refunds will be granted with no penalty up to 24 hours after purchase.
- 31 days or more prior to the course you will be granted a tuition refund less a course cancellation fee of $175.
- No refund will be granted 30 days or less prior to the course date.
- Transfers to another open course are permitted 31 days or more prior to a course without a rescheduling fee. 30 days or less prior to a course transfers to another open course are permitted for a $175 rescheduling administration fee.
Faculty Development:
Our courses have a limited number of spaces. Given our participants’ need to make advanced scheduling decisions and our wish to accommodate as many people as possible, we have a strict cancellation policy for Faculty Development. All requests for refunds MUST be submitted in writing to courses@vitaltalk.org. Written requests for refunds will be processed according to the deadlines below:
- Full refunds will be granted with no penalty up to 24 hours after purchase.
- Cancellation email received at least 90 days prior to the first course date – full refund, less a $250 per person administrative fee.
- Cancellation email received less than 90 days but at least 31 days prior to the course – 50% refund of total tuition.
- Cancellation email received less than 30 days prior to the course – no refund on full tuition.
- Transfers to another Faculty Development cohort (both R1 and R2) is allowed 90 days prior to originally scheduled R1 course for a $250 rescheduling administrative fee.
- If you are unable to complete your R2 course with your cohort, you must submit a rescheduling request in writing to courses@vitaltalk.org and we will allow for one transfer and add you to the waitlist for a spot in a future R2 course, you will be issued an invoice for a $250 administrative fee at time of request.
